High-Risk Pregnancy
Approximately a third of all women experience a pregnancy-related complication before, during or after delivery. Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians, also called perinatologists, are obstetricians who specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care of expectant mothers and their unborn babies. Board-Certified NeonatologistsA neonatologist -- a pediatrician who specializes in care for newborns with special medical needs -- will be briefed before your delivery by the perinatologist to make sure all of the services you and your baby may require are in place should you need them. If complications should occur during labor or delivery, each room in our Maternity Center is equipped for emergency situations and our highly qualified staff is trained to respond. |
